As a result, the once-mighty Mr Incredible is left behind, juggling domestic responsibilities with taking care of the kids, as the invincible super-mum and the household's new breadwinner clashes head-on with the city's newest mega-villain, Screenslaver. However, the wealthy Deavor siblings of Devtech offer new hope with a bold project to rehabilitate the public image and legal status of Supers, with Elastigirl being assigned on point to be the shining example. Now, Elastigirl must solve the mystery of this enemy, who has malevolent designs on the world with the Parr family and friends key targets of this evil.
First of all. I saw this in the theater, where before the film starts all the actors tell us how amazing the film is going to be because its been worked on for 14 years...PLease....don't insult my intelligence...

Anyways, The movie is great but i wondered about certain choices that held the movie back. ElastiGirl tells her husband she used to have a bike, and much more he does not know about. But her past is never brought up again to reveal something important. I actually thought she recognized Screen Slaver as a villain from her past. But that ended up not being the case at all.

The villain is really weak. And in a copy and paste from the first movie. A event is staged by the villain for the hero to look good. Its set up so that cameras are installed on her costume. but other than a few seconds in a news clip, this setup goes no where, I feel some interesting things could have been done with the situation but nothing happens.

I know the movie takes place immediately after the 1st and yet at some sections the family acts as though the 1st movie never happened.

And another thing. Usually the opening scene is of some importance that is to be explained later in the movie. Yeah, i thought memory wiping was going to play a big role in the movie. But no...that entire opening scene was for nothing except to add some teen drama into a movie and it ended up being completely pointless and only added duration to the movie.

And again from the opening we never see the Underminer again...he just shows up and leaves and adds no impact to the movie whatsoever...also just adding screen time.

And last but not least lets talk about the quality of animation. It seems like they changed nothing from the first film except they added bags under everyone eyes...which was really annoying and hard to look at...Especially Violet. She is like 12 and yet she looked older than most of the adults in the film. At first i thought some thing was going on in the background and we would be told why she is not sleeping...But no..there was nothing...so they just added the bags because they liked them? they looked terrible,,,!!!
Having seen the original ground breaking movie, i looked fwd to this as a lot of you did. It flowed straight off from where part one ended and for those who love the first movie, this was a nice added touch.

What made the movie bad was the intense focus on the family life and mr incredible's internal struggles with his wife working while he stayed at home. They really over played that and made mr incredible look incredibly weak.

I wont talk about the main theme of good vs evil. It was predictable but this is a children's movie so dont expect anything too deep. However, i've seen better developed plots that kids got in similar movies.
Once the menacing and mysterious Screenslaver is introduced, inciting a Spielberg-level monorail chase that reaffirms Bird’s lucid gift for kinetic and character-driven action filmmaking, the movie blasts off and never looks back.
